July 27, 2009 will always be remembered as the day that changed Deliverance Bible Church in Hurst, TX forever."10 teams, 10 nations!"That was the announcement by Pastor Cleetus Adrian (senior pastor of DBC Hurst). He said he had been in the house of prayer staring at the map on the wall for days while praying in the Spirit. After 10 years of good ministry, multiple outreaches, weekly evangelism, schools of ministry, 24-7 prayer, international church planting, cell groups, and whatever else the people of DBC could come up with to serve the Lord and their community, there was still something major missing: The Great Commission...The GLOBAL Great Commission to be exact. And this is what Pastor Cleetus suddenly found while staring at that map."God, why don't we just go to all these places and preach the Gospel?"He asked the Holy Spirit while pacing back and forth in that little room.Before he could even finish his thought, the Lord grabbed his heart and said, "That what's I've been saying since this church began."Within just a few hours the entire plan of what is now known as MK1615 began.By August 2010, DBC was sending 10 teams to 10 nations, reaching 6 continents all at the same time, preaching the Gospel with more than 60 volunteers from the church. From the coastline of South Africa to the ghettos of Rio de Janeiro to the small communities of gypsies in Paris, France, this little church in the middle of Hurst, TX began to finally see what God has been calling the church to do for more than 2000 years: "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel..."With multiple trips each year from Hurst, annual schools and conferences, and other DBC campuses beginning their own MK1615 projects, our desire is to take the Gospel to every nation and people group before the return of Christ.December 7-11, 2011 and August 5-12, 2012, DBC will be taking teams to more nations to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying generation. Learning different languages in less than 12 months, studying local customs and cultures, and financing all travel needs completely by faith, our desire is to touch multiple continents at once with the simplicity of the Great Commission of Mark 16:15.Our Mission is to: Walk in God's Love, Boldly Preach Repentance of Sin, Be led by the Holy Spirit with Signs Following, and Be Carriers of Revival to the Nations.August 2012 Mission Destinations:Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia • Manila, Philippines • Johannesburg, S. The MK1615 ConferenceJuly 27-29, 2012Speakers include:Pastors Cleetus & Nichole Adrian, DBC-HurstAnd more TBASince 2002, Deliverance Bible Church has been holding annual conferences geared to encourage and raise up ministries to reach the outcasts and forgotten of society with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the summer of 2010, as we approached the time of our next conference (then known as Nation of the Underground) and our first MK1615 trips, the Lord began to press us towards a new direction with these gatherings. Instead of our usual 2-3 days of meetings, God told us to call 10 days of corporate fasting and prayer while focusing on the Great Commission. The time together in God's presence was beautiful and life-changing. It put the focus of Christ's desire for souls front and center in our hearts again.This year we will come together again. It will not be for 10 days but for 3. But the time together will still be amazing. Each day will be focused on how to actively pursue the Great Commission and the awesome power of the Holy Spirit.Pray about attending this July. But as we always say, be warned in advance...these meetings are not for the Sunday Christian or the mildly religious. They are for the ones that are truly desperate to lay their lives down for the King of kings and Lord of lords. This year, beyond the normal three weeks of local schooling and evangelism, each student will end their school on the streets of a foreign country preaching the Gospel to the lost. So, you better order that passport today if you plan on coming.
